ABC's: Kindergarten
For this lesson plan I made the students listen to the alaphbet song and then we played a game where the students had to identify the letter when it was said. Click on the icon below to view the lesson plan.
Addition to 5: Kindergarten
For this lesson plan I asked the students about the upcoming holiday (Easter) and I used a math worksheets and Easter eggs to create a fun activity. We completed the worksheet together as a class and after students were asked to take 2 of the problems on their worksheet and convert them on to the egg. Once they were finished they received candy.
Fun in the Sun: Kindergarten
For this lesson I had the students do a summer craft where they made a sun with some sunglasses and a writing sheet underneath. On the writing sheet they all started with the sentence, "This summer I want to.." and i had them tell me what they were planning on doing. They worked on creating sentences and spelling words correctly.
